Phil Kieran

6 months on from the release of his debut album ‘SHH’ on cocoon recordings, Phil hasn’t taken his foot of the pedal one iota. In the past six months he has signed new EPs to Electric Deluxe Speedy Js label, the uber cool Snork Enterprizes and DJ Hell’s International Gigolo Records. In between working on his second album, writing prolific amounts of quality music and locking himself away in southern Ireland in a remote studio, Phil seems to have produced some of his best work to date, which means 2011 is going to be a very busy year.

Kieran has also found the time to setup his own label with a surprisingly simple name ‘Phil Kieran Recordings’. Kierans huge Techno track ‘Skyhook’, originally released on Novamute and with every producer in the world clambering to get involved in his re-release of this epic track, its not surprising that the line up of the debut release PKR001 will feature remixes by Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback, Ricardo Tobar, Green Velvet and Felix Martin who you will know from his HotChip infamy.
